Michael makes stuff??!This art was inspired by the Underfell characters and comic by EleonorVonCarter , mainly this page . Made with Aseprite.
I probably won't dive into spritework majorly again until I'm done a few other research projects. But I wanted to experiment with a few things like scrolling backgrounds, and this latest scene from the comic seemed like a perfect way to test it. First time doing sprites larger than 16x16 pixels too. I skimped on parallax scrolling. Maybe next time. Β EDIT: Aaaand I forgot shadows.Β π
I tried to include all the details I could so it's clear which AU this is based on (Chara's flower, locket, Frisk's bandage). Flowey is on the wrong arm though. Β There are only so many pixels to go around. And if he were on Frisk's other arm, he'd be competing with Frisk's face for space, so...onto the other arm he goes! Chara is just hanging on for the ride. Frisk is in a rough spot, but her friends are there for her.
EDIT: Removed some stray footprints that were visible for 1 frame.
