Instinctively, Jack cupped his hands in front of him and the light-gold essence fell gently down into the perch he'd provided. He smiled, unable to help it. He could feel such warmth against his fingers, but there was something amazing there, too, that he just couldn't describe. He didn't know what it was – only that it was Chase, and that was all he needed to know as it fluttered and shifted over his palms and fingers."Xin ài," he murmured, and the soft-gold soul flared a little brighter. "Beautiful, beloved, perfect Chase... your choice. Always. I love you."
