My favorite part of this painting is the reflection of light on the drapery of the gown: the interplay of purple and blue is so beautiful. The downy parts of her wings look a little too undefined to me, since the rest of the painting is full of sharply drawn lines. Overall, breathtaking color and contrast between light and dark.
