The only thing that bothers me is the head tilt compared to the pattern on the floor... I guess it makes sense with the way the wings would arch her back, but it still isnt working right in my mind.

This reminds me of Hai from the Kiesha'Ra series by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. Except that her wings would be broken and there wouldn't be celtic knots carved into the floor. This is a really stunning piece. It's easy to see why it's a Daily Deviation. VERY well-done.

Indeed, and so would her hair if I remember right. No, that's Oliza. Never mind. You know, disappointingly, there isn't that much good Kiesha'Ra fanart out there. I mean, there are a few that I think are really good, but a lot of it is just lukewarm, you know? So have you read any of Amelia's other books?

most of the older ones i think. Shattered Mirror, In the Forests of the Night, Midnight Predator (my favorite). I did one of Hai a while ago. Not accurate according to her tastes and her hair, and prolly lukewarm as you have said, but i like it and she is one of my favorite characters of the keisha'ra series. (profile stocked) And i JUST got done reading the latest Jacky Faber book.

Well, don't tell me anything about it. I haven't gotten past "My Bonny Light Horseman," since I don't have any money and I haven't been able to even find a copy of the next book. As for fanfiction, I lack the motivation to complete anything of decent length. Not to mention, there's nothing I've come up with that would be consistent with the writing style or the story of the original. I think I'm better off trying to learn foreign languages, like I've been wanting for the past few years.
