When I saw this was traditional art in the description I didn't believe you. I still don't. Those details are unreal and the smoothness is heartstopping. That lighting too... seriously, amazing. I love the texture in the wings and the style you chose to draw them as.

beautiful, but a tad cliche. The amulet in her hand just makes it too much. Also, strikes me bizarre that the skin doesn't have any green reflected in it. Other than tat-- gorgeous colors/lighting, just absolutely amazing technical skill.

Out of curiosity, why would there be any green reflection in her skin? I am looking into becoming a painter and am very curious. c:

In the areas the skin is coming in contact with the greenish-ground the light would bounce off of it and reflect some of the color onto the skin. I tried to put more blue and purple reflected light where its closer to the wings and dress.

Not really sure how to answer this question. I made them darker than the light areas..? I did look at some reference photos of similar shadows.

Admit-ably, I too thought that it was a photograph when I first glanced at it. When I looked closer... boy, was I surprised. I really like the Celtic design in the background. Stupendous, keep up the good work.
