Feels like a real Ediacaran or early Cambrian scene. Incredible! And I really like the faded background effect (what would you call that)?

I love how they parallel real deep sea and Cambrian animals but are clearly alien. Convergent alien evolution is always so neat. I especially like the lobed, anomalocaris-looking creature in the bottom left (I'm always a sucker for anomalocaridesque critters) and the swimming, agnathan-like "fish".Β
Also, are the lumpy, lobed organisms filter-feeders? Or are they something more akin to creeping starfish? I see from that one in the far left middle that their fleshy lobes are apparently flexible.

I never thought about giving a creature so many swim-ribbons (totally the proper name) that it looks like hair. could make a great sophont
