This is amazing, there is so much to this picture. I like the touches of red: red figure in the foreground, the single red window of the house, the red horizon. And what are those rocks/ruins on the mysterious hills in the distance? It all creates a really eerie atmosphere.

I love lots of things about this picture. I love haunted house pictures, and this has a really creepy look to it. The tree branches have a great "fairy-story illustration" quality to them, and the shades of colour on the hill work really well. Plus there's the faceless watcher... A fantastic piece.

Oh my God, not only is it epic and classic just with the whole "house on the hill" theme with a person staring at it... but that creature!!! That just throws it into a whole new perspective of freaky. Amazing twist!

I love it! Great spooky atmosphere, the stairs seem so intimidating with the haunted house at the peak as well as the colours of this picture compliment the theme.
