Amazing piece of artwork.
The creatures themselves are interesting, generally when i draw something lurking over a character it is a deformed human of some variety. I like how you've used plants and animals instead.
May i ask, is there any meaning behind the things themselves or are they just figments of imagination drawn because they were effective?

I can't express why I find some piece of myself in this. I think it's because we have all felt this in some metaphorical sense. No, we were not chased by physical monsters... but everyone knows what it's like to feel despair. Thisi picture captures the essense of that feeling. It shows a piece of insanity as well... and you really want to see what could happen next.

You work perfectly with perspectives. You are able to do what only few DA friends of mine are able to do: to reach to the depth of your soul and bring up things from the deep. Like diving in a dark sea.

This totally reminds me of one of my favorite songs of Lacrimosa, Nachtschatten (nightshadow - uh, this is bad english...) and it displays exactly the feeling that goes along with the song as also the picture that comes up in my mind. I'm so impressed by this...Love it!
