First off, congrats on the daily deviation, sorry I missed out on that!
Alrighty, you really did show despair in a new light here. Usually it's a bit differenct but you used the shadows in an excellent manner here. The dolls also seem to be sad as well and that really helps subconciously if you look at the picture quickly. The small light that comes out from around her is pretty awesome as well. The rips and tears on the walls are awesome and the lines go into that small light that's eminating from her which pulls you to view her.

i really like the depth this has, it pulls you in by forcing all your attention onto the singularity of the lone girl, you really pay close attention to your whites and blacks, very strong emotions. The portrait is fuzzy looking, where as the toys are more crisp, giving a feeling like it may not be a portrait but a stain in the wall, like the ring movie perhaps (japaese or american release, whichever catches your fancy, though i always prefer the original). very nice
