i truly believe that robotic organisms will be far more organic than we think.
Right now, we're kind of more focused on their nervous systems, which will, like ours, be more electrically driven, so for now it does make sense that we are thinking more along mechanical lines, but really, as we give birth to new life, it will most likely, in my view, take on deeper aspects of organisms as we've known them.

Life like machines would be a truly impressive accomplishment if we ever get to that point. The fluidity and complex microstructures of living things paired with the perfection and exactness of machines is the ultimate combination!

Very cool. I did some research on Transhumanism a while back for a paper. Its a fascinating philosophy for the modern age. Its also a very optimistic philosophy, and I get a sense of that in this painting with the androids looking up into the light.
