During my career, I've had the good fortune to shoot with both film and digital cameras. Back in the film days, I had several of the cameras available, but mostly shot on a medium-format Mamiya. Since the digital boom, I've owned and shot all sorts of cameras with 4/3's sensors, APSC sensors, and full-frame sensors... including the marvelous Sony A7 series of cameras. But always trying to make things harder for myself (don't ask me why!), I thought I'd see what I could do with my old Canon S100 point-and-shoot. With a sensor size of only 7.53x6.64mm and a diagonal of only 9.41mm (0.37"), this sensor is oodles smaller than the 4/3's sensor!

That said, could I make my images as good, or at least close, to all my larger-censored shots? I've set out on a quest to find out. Needing a model of course, I elected to shoot my wife on her 47th birthday... I'm sure she would welcome kind and adoring comments! I welcome your comments and opinions. Please, sexy comments yes, just no hater and mean comments!
