Lol, I didn't watch Doctor Who at the time of the critique (and still haven't), but regardless, this is still an amazing piece of work.
Definitely deserving of whatever praise anyone's willing to give.
(Thanks for the head's up on the source material, by the way. I always thought Doctor Who was some older show, but I guess it's most definitely modern.)

An inventive and well executed artwork.
I like the title, it was the first thing that grabbed my attention, but the art reinforces it making the overall piece a conceptual joy to behold.

I also love the doctor and seeing art of him. You did an amazing job of showing his thoughtful side and youthful look while showing how he has the knowledge of hundreds of years and has seen vicious battles.

I imagined him here rising out of the clouds taking in the wonder of it all, but what's not shown is the possibility that he is rising up to meet some new calamity. While working on this I had included falling debris, like meteors falling around him but they were removed to retain more of the serenity of the moment.
Rising from one storm to meet the next - is how I view the Doctor. We're currently watching all of the episodes (now on Series 3) so I'm getting to re-experience Tennant's run as the Doctor so that the latest 50th and Christmas Special episodes will make sense for both of us. (I'm up to date aside from the Christmas one
