Indeed, be mindful she has a blaster rifle though.

Is that what that is on the far right shelf of the sleeping pod? Love the details in this. It really looks like this woman lives there on long voyages. And. indeed, it appears she would have to fight suitors off with a stick (rifle).

I like this but my only issue are her thighs why aren't they touching if she's laying on her side?

I can't really say anything constructive. I can only send my opinion in saying that this piece snagged my eye. It's gorgeous. Well done.

Sweet render there, the lighting looks great, even though the character is a little rigid, think someone said "stiff" or so, i think the room looks really great. Β

The environment (room) looks real. Β Like a movie set. Β The pillows and character look a little stiff, and kind of give away the illusion, but the materials and lighting in that room are awesome.

Thanks, didnt really change much from the original set up, I like the idea of a movie set though.

The gloss on the floor, the lighting, and the self-illuminated electronic displays look awesome. Β I love the subtle glow on the hotspots too, and the overall ambiance in the room. Β Yeah totally reminds me of a high budget sci-fi drama or thriller. Β Octane has a pretty decent SSS shading system for human skin. Β I think they have one you can grab from the presets online that work nicely as a realistic skin shader with Path Tracing or PMC kernel. Β You can also use it in Direct Lighting/Diffuse kernel with 2 or 3 bounces.

I was limited to what I could with gen 2 female due to running out of vram, had to drop the hair and jean short textures 1/2 and 1/3 just to fit it all in.

Remember to use Geo Instancing (proxy) where you can. Β It's especially useful in outdoor scenes, where you need a field of grass, or a forest of trees, etc. Β I don't know if Octane supports texture instancing, but that would be very handy, and save tons of vram if it's possible. Β Instancing geometry can allow for millions upon millions of polys in a scene to be rendered in your GPU.
