I dunno. Still waiting to see what happens and I get this new. I mean I know Farcry 5, a game that I finished playing a while ago, had microtransactions and I said screw that. But Devil May Cry 5...I dunno. For whatever dumb decision Capcom does, can I send em a raw quality of a FU delivered food to them. Well this is Capcom...what happened to you?Related content

I plan on making an extensive journal entry regarding my assorted thoughts on this matter very soon once I collect myself. Disappointment does not even begin to describe just some of my thoughts on this matter.Β What is even more laughable is producer Matt Walker's pathetic response. How about not including them in the first place in what has been traditionally a single player series. At least in relation to DMC4: SE, the micro transactions there were easy to ignore since the game was not built upon their usage. The same cannot be said here.
According to a Dual Shockers article I read, even the manner in which you are revived is being changed to accommodate this. No longer do you have to purchase a Gold Orb. Just pay red orbs to come back to life with the price going up the more times you use it. Suffice to say, once more news or leaks come out detailing more information,people will not be defending this nonsense.Β Well unless this disgusting system is removed,even if I were to somehow get a PS4 or Xbox One,I will gladly pass. I waited 10 years for a proper Devil May Cry followup. I can hold out much longer. I miss the days of having cheat codes.

Thank you for the information. Damn shame something like this is in the game. As much as a cheat code would not sound too bad, I dunno if I trust Capcom do have something like that, after seeing them have it as DLC for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. I guess I can say is I'm glad I still have a few Devil May Cry games with me. As for 4, hopefully I can get it after my next paycheck. For 5, well I'll keep an eye on whatever news the internet will release.

For example, the first Godfather and GTA: San Andreas allowed you to earn easy money via cheat codes. In the case of the first Godfather,you had to wait one hour in game time each time you used the cheat to gain more money. I was thinking about asking you to make a request in relation to this terrible new,but I figured that you would bring it up in a comic of yours. So I will simply have to come up with something else in mind. In the meantime,well at the very least,the artworks slowly coming out in relation to Devil May Cry V's announcement has not been disappointing.

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition had microtransactions for the orbs, too. If you go onto Matt's (The producer's) Twitter, he said that you don't have to buy the red orbs. So your best bet is to just do everything RPG style and grind the red orbs like the other games. People that decide to pay for red orbs are just impatient and stupid.

Damn, didn't knew that on Devil May Cry 4. So far, I have is just 1 - 3. Yeah I know that "I don't have to buy it", but this kind of crap can be annoying as hell and sounds like a lame excuse for us to ignore it, especially Lootboxes. Damn right, I also find buying red orbs with real money stupid.
