It is not just Crapcom that does this with Street Fighter but Arc System Works with both Guilty Gear and Blazblue. I completely understand that Xbox Live,Paystation Network, and the Wii Store did not exist in the early days but come on. How many versions of the same exact game did we really needed back them. Super Street Fighter II was more than enough for the average gamer. Ditto with Street Fighter III.
Arc System Works needs to chill out with releasing so many versions of Blazblue.
I am honestly shocked that Capcom did not utterly killed the fighting game genre just as quickly as they invented it. Over saturation is what killed Guitar Heroes and one day Call Of Duty will meet that same exact fate.
Β I only hope that Team Ninja does not follow suit with the Dead Or Alive series.
I hope that Ultra Street Fighter IV is the last update for SFIV.
Well thank goodness SNK Playmore has so far avoided falling into this same pitfall with King Of Fighters.

Now you can toss in Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final ChallengersΒ into the mix as well. Yet another god damn updated port of the original Street Fighter II. Capcom must be out of their damn mind if they think that charging $40 for this rehash is acceptable. Then again the Nintendo Switch has barely any games on it right now so bravo?!
And no including Evil Ryu and Violent Ken does not count as new characters. Don't get me started on the shoto bullshit.
