Description
This guy is a genetically manipulated prize fighter. It started as a research for an uncommon characterdesign. For my personal stuff i prefer this style where the brushstrokes are still visible, rather than getting too realistic. Jesus Christ. That's phenomenal. I agree about the balance between realism and style, and think you've nailed it perfectly -- and the joy of it is the way you've combined fairly realistic execution with a completely stylised and unusual concept. It's a fantastic juxtaposition. This guy reminds me of Porco Rosso. Anyway,

This is incredible, I love the style the technique and the idea. It is beautiful. I see this as a very good visualization of the sport boxing.

I do prefer this style, where the strokes are still visible, too - but only to look at, cause im not nearly as good as I really had the choice to draw realistic
