Description
This guy is a genetically manipulated prize fighter. It started as a research for an uncommon characterdesign. For my personal stuff i prefer this style where the brushstrokes are still visible, rather than getting too realistic. Sweet. Have you ever seen Porco Rosso?? Come to think of it, you've probably heard this ten thousand times. My condolences. None the less, it's my favorite Ghibli film and nobody else loves it as much as I do, and this reminds me of it. Oh Porco, you really were good and kind inside!!

I thought so too; when it was small the lighting looked so realistic but the deliberate brush strokes, man...that's amaaazing, coupled with the details on the shirt. When I first saw this I thought of Les Claypool when he wore a pig mask at Wakarusa with Buckethead. Great great job michaelkutsche!

I noticed others made this distinction, as well. First thing it reminded me of was the book "Animal Farm", both 'cause of the rugged humanistic piggy and the "Boxer" title in relation to another of the story's characters.
My only curiosity is why he has fluff and prickly hairs everywhere but his arms. Either way, very badass. He actually doesn't look like such a bad guy! What with his 'cool guy' lean-back shoulder-hunch XD
