Commissioned workshop I did for ImagineFX magazine issue 33 (www.imaginefx.com/022877543306β¦ ). 95 percent done in Painter, some tweaks in Photoshop. Now go and buy the mag!

This is AMAZING! It immediately stirred up my emotions & I love how ape-like he looks (presumably because dogs & chimps went to space before mankind did).

I don't understand why people don't immediately get the idea of the original space test monkey coming back. Either way, this is beautiful work! It's seriously bordering on photography level realism. : ]
