Well, here's my piece that apparently didn't make it into the Udon Megaman Tribute book, so I figure it's alright to go ahead and post it!CONFIRMED 4/21/11: This one did NOT make it into the book, evidenced by the full list of winners released today, so I'm pulling it out from storage.
Really hoping they do another Street Fighter Tribute down the line. I'll pull out all the stops for that one...!
(Because last time I was stuck illustrating some God-awful children's book about the most linguistically- and logically-challenged talking dogs ever. Never again.)

You know, I haven't seen a lot of Legends related work popping up for the Tribute. It's nice and makes me all warm inside thinking about how awesome that game truly was.

I haven't looked around much, but Legends had such a fun atmosphere and overall designβI would hope there were plenty of entries that focused on Legends characters...!

Well, I haven't seen all the entries, but from what I've personally been coming across, it seems to be more of classic and X, and less of Legends.
I love Legends. Love it. It was so much fun to see Megaman as an action RPG. Sucks though because I haven't played the second one, and the third will be on the 3DS. Here's hoping for an anniversary collection one day. One of those games that has a special place in my heart.

Indeed. I actually like the classic blue bomber best, but everything else considered I like the designs in Legends over the rest of the franchise. Never played the second one eitherβthough I did play Misadventures of Tron Bonne and enjoyed it for all the same aesthetic reasons.

So the results have already been posted? Last I saw, they were still waiting on word from Capcom for the final approval, and that no one so far has been notified regarding their inclusion in the book yet.
