Started this one just over a year ago. I'm glad it's finally done.Usually I shot for specific concepts but this image was just an extra from the bunch and I didn't really have an idea for it. I liked the pose so I started playing around with it and this was the result. To me it appears that she is a ghost and he is trying to hold on to her. I can see the struggle in his arms while she is saying "let me go"

Wow really fascinating scene. I love the rough nature she has with such serene features. The organic feeling of her decay with it's radial degradation erupting from various points is very disconcerting by its realism.
Even so the overall texture of the background and scene is quite fire-like in its patterning.
