Hadn't even crossed my mind about the rendering being used as a shorthand for fur. The pigmentation in that brown is so strong that filling it in solidly would have resulted in an indecipherable mess. I'll totally take credit for attempting to use the rendering as a means to depict fur though

Not really sure how useful Sharpie marker techniques are...I think I'm about to give them the boot after I finish a few more.
