One thing I liked about this episode is how well they managed to translate Mt. Aris from the movie's style to the show's...though now that I think about it, I wonder why they didn't put Princess Skystar and Queen Novo in there? Or at the very least given them brief cameos? 🤔

Good Questions... Maybe some characters including Princess Skystar and Queen Novo are not in the episode as Canon, because they are belonged to Liongates according to its Copyright. Also, Cameos are just shown in the movie...

That doesn't make any sense. A lot of the major characters that were featured in the movie were mentioned at the beginning of "School Daze, Part 1", which by all indication marks them as canon. Heck, even TEMPEST, one of the movie's major villains, was referenced during those first few minutes as well.
