Description
The album is finished! Some minor corrections here or there, but we're through with the main part of the work! Next week, we'll give the data to the printer and the book will hit the stores in mid-august.I'm soooo happy.
This is a pic from the first story, it takes place in spring 1904 in Gelsenkirchen.

Thanks. As I said in another comment - I chose the style deliberately to match the feeling of the time period. AND I'm a big fan of Herge's "Tintin".

What is the name of the comic and is it being printed in English by any chance?

The title is "Schalke - Helden von ganz unten" (Schalke - Heros from down below). It's a very local comic, "Schalke" is a soccer-club in Northrhine-Westfalia. Cut short: The chances that this is published in english is - well, almost not there. But I try anyway!

Thats cool. I actually speak a good deal of German, I was born in Bonn so if I get my hands on the comic I could probably manage. I'm familiar with Schalke of course, as I'm an 1. FC Koln fan haha.

Yeah, I chose the "Tintin"-sttyle deliberately, it seemed to fit well to the time-period and theme of the comicbook.
