This is a little concept art practice . Not commissioned work, just fun work and also I'm trying to push the style into a different level. With each drawing I view from you my life gets a bit more pointless. See i havent really begun drawing professionally or digitally (only 16 y/o). But when I do my repetoire will be too much like yours. This is 95% EXATLY what I am drawing RIGHT NOW.... only mine is black and white and less sketchy...
and maybe a little less awesome :' /
But on the bright side I havent seen you do any cartoonish spacey things I sometimes do at school. So I'm not totally unoriginal...

she is beatiful! so amazingly alien and powerfully imposing!
that stunningly regal mask (or is is her face?) is so scary, the fact that, well, there IS no face is nightmarish and messes with my head. it's a brilliant idea, i think some of the most disturbing images anybody can produce (from pyramid-head to living dolls) have no face. and yours is masterfully exicuted. i think it's the fact that she has such a confident, arogant stance; which conflicts with the idea that she has no practicle way of seeing, and so we know that she must have some kind of unknown power. and as we all know, it's the unknown that scares us the most. also, the fact that her legs are so long makes her very tall and even more terrifying. i especially like the way you haven't opted for a teeth and claws aproach to horror, but the unobtrusive claws and spiked forarms keep a sense of danger in the back of our minds. and your style is so stunning! i love a painterly aproach to art, and yours is lovely. those muddy black claw marks at the bottom of the figure are excellent, because i can't quite tell wether they are simply an artistic device showing deapth of field, or if the figure really is blackened at the ends. the constrasts between the beautiful, wonderfully feathered textures of the thighs, the stark glare of the golden sections, the smooth, porcelaine beauty of the skin and the deceptively warm and comforting background is astheticly wonderful, and all in all, the composition of this picture is classic and effective. those beautifull gold highlights are an wonderfull acentuation to the richness of all the other browns in this picture, and the background has just enough chaos and interest to be as important as the actual figure.
well, that was long! but well worth it. i LOVE this painting, and i just thought i'd... well... share my thoughts! can't wait to get stuck into the rest of your gallery!
