Description
Cover for a fantasy novel. This is very popular series in Slovak and Czech Republic (it's also been published in Poland and Russia). I'm acctually doing covers for it my whole illustration career. Hopefully one day it will be published in english as well (there are some talks
)On this cover I tried to combine my new approach to illustration with my old style. I think it worked quite well. There will be more in this style soon

Wonderful. This picture is full of strenght, of movement, the figures realistic. The colours are bright and intense, and I love the contrast between the red of the figure in front of the image, the pale-blue, pale-green and grey of the water and the white/yellow of the enemies on the background. Despite his being on the left side of the picture, the figure of the archer is the very fulcrum of the picture. That goes straight in the favourites.

Thanks! Hopefully some they it will be translated to english. It's fantasy story about a warlock (demon hunter) from eastern europe region. It's full of our ancient gods and creatures from the legends
