this is a fun piece. started as a small sketch for avatar. it's a little homage to the Swamp Thing charactermade in Photoshop

I'm new to DA and not subscribed so I can't give you official 'critique'- but I can comment!
The color is perfect, the green reminiscent of a 'swamp thing' creature and night vision making it sinister as f-en h*ll.. - like coming across this at night, oh, man, talk about shocked too-stupid-to-run! As for the red of course its the perfect contrast and could it be blood or moss? Not knowing makes it even more mysterious
THIS CREEPED ME OUT!! bottom line, I faved it because it made the hair raise on the back of my neck. This is one of the most frightening monsters I have ever come across. The glow of it eyes is pure evil. The huge mouth is not human, despite the human feel to the creature.
Maybe you could have sharpened up the shoulders- or arms- or whatever that part is at the same distance as the head-- just slightly, but for the most part, the contrast between blurred and sharp works for a slimy, mossy, night thing.

All I can be is amazed, you definatly pulled off the eyes. Your blending technique is flawless and the way you blurred outward making it seem somewhat formless without taking away its structeral details was very skilled.

Beautiful composition and expression. The drips are a bit too subtle but don't take away from the piece as a whole. The eyes are a lovely center focus.
