Even though this is an older piece, I feel the need to let you know that when I first opened an account with DA (maybe two years ago?) this is the first piece I remember seeing. It's stuck with me, and I'm surprised and pleased that I managed to find it again. Even though it's unfinished, it's one of my favorite pieces of all time (by anyone.)
Thank you so much for posting.

Thanks! No I haven't used it nowhere. But it's possible sometimes it happens that somebody uses my art without my permission . As long as it's not for commercial use it's ok, but I have at home quite expensive Italian t-shirt with my image. That my friend who saw it in a shop bought me back here in Slovakia.

Looks finished to me, I really enjoy the rendered areas of the face and hand mixed with the impressions of his wardrobe.

This is by far one of my most favorite works of urs.. The eyes, the teeth, & the hands are pefect. It stands out clearly on the plain dirty background. Overall, It got this 'Renaissance' style on it. Its Classic! (and u shud be proud of it!)

I think having the cigar unfinished attaches a rather bizzare ponitcy to it. I like this alol, makes me think about my nicotine problem.

I think this piece is excellent.
I believe being unfinished adds a kind of atmosphere to it. Personally, I wouldn't finish this piece ever, either, or else it would just lose.. something that I cannot put into words.
Excellent, excellent work.

oh hes so grotesque! (sp) thats what snmokers look like to me... old, icky and wrinkly and yucky mouths. =C and especially sicne they did it to themselves and then smoke outside where other people are forced to breathe it. *cough*

I love the detail that you put into this picture especally the detail in the face and the hand. It's a terrifying picture, but it's also a very cool picture at the same time.

Wow, that is insanely terrifying. I love the detail and the way the ciggar looks transparent. You said you weren't finished, but I think it is beautiful the way it is. Sometimes, unfinished is finished, at least for me. The detail, especially on the hands is mind-boggling. Just wonderful...

this is very reminiscent of Ivan albright's work
great job
I'd love to see this finished, but since it's not exactly realistic to ask that you go back and finish the painting, I think it would be a great idea to put it into photoshop and finish it up there
please give it some thought
thanks
