and another absolutely great piece, I so love how dynamic, how powerful this is, the strong shape of the rider and the horse, all the details, the hard muscles and the evil stare, the birds up in the air, and the silhouettes of the army in the background.
and yet, there is some hope in this image, the tree in the background, the sunlight makes him look like a symbol of hope in this otherwise so dark and sort of brutal piece.

Amazing depiction of fury... the birds of prey flying overhead add much to the sense of "death" pervading this piece.

Great work! You've got an eye for colours and texture.
I think my favourite part in this one, is the blurry dust/ dirt, that is flying around. Adds a lot of life and movement to the scene.
The lighting and detail on the horse is great, too.

What a wonderful composition! The colors and lighting, the pose ... very dynamic, yet somehow frozen.
I love the facial expression and the glowing eyes and sword of the rider. And the birds are fantastic. They add alot to the whole picture.

only 17 favourites? This is the only thing I don't like here on DA, the unknown people never get the same support of the "Top", so their works even if they are better from the others, dont get the same fav's...
