Description
This is a personal painting I did a long time ago. An old version of this painting was featured in Spectrum 13, but I fixed it up for the Spectrum Annual Show that was held in New York at the Museum of American Illustration last year.I also did a few quick tutorials with this image. You can find them on my youtube site.

Yeah, they actually stole my painting and used it illegally. I had to get a lawyer and contact them about it. They were supposed to have destroyed all of their inventory. Can you still buy it there? If you can, I need to contact them again because part of the deal was that they would destroy their inventory.

The mistiness adds to the raw, gritty feeling in this piece. I love how you can't see the horseman's eyes which further establishes a sense of foreboding, detachment, and dread.
