I really like the shot.
I really get the feeling that she is in pain and is about to tear her hair away. However personally I would have tried covering her ear more (just my personal opinion).

i look at this and i think of one word. insecurity. i see someone who is shy.. timid and afraid to be seen as if she feels no one would want to see her face anyway for if they look into her eyes they might see the real her and find she is weak and she might not even be weak but her fears are rather strong.
probably not what was intended with this shot but that is what i got from it. impressive.

I like using hair pulling as a sign of distress, Hair must be right up there with her figure and shoes....I personally WISH I did have hair to pull....the textures are lovely very nice exercise!!!

Unusually calm portrait, compared to your other works.
Actually my eye was searching a "troubling" element in it... Didn't find any, neat shot.
