So this was for 's One Year Event: Old vs. New Contest! But then I got disqualified... oh well. Anyways, I cannot stress to you how long it took to make this.. I'm still amazed that I actually completed it. I unfortunately couldn't fit everything into one paper, so I had to add another (so that's why you can see where they meet, l0l). But anyways, I probably should explain my picture.. So if you haven't already guessed it, I decided to do my contest entry on Death Note (2003) & Code Geass (2006). If you haven't seen/read these animes, I strongly think you should. Probably the biggest reason I chose these animes is because Light Yagami (a.k.a KIRA) and Lelouch vi Britannia (a.k.a Zero) are like GENIUSES! It's crazy how they plan things so precisely! Besides their incredible brains, they are downright SEXAY! sigh~ Lelouch's gorgeous purple eyes.. I wish I could have them to myself. But yeah, I thought it would be perfect to have them up against each other just because they were so similar. I'll tell ya, it would be one hell of an anime! you did a better job drawing the code geass characters then you did with the death note characters =/

Sadly yes, my own style of drawing anime ended up rubbing off while I was doing Death Note. So forgive me. I couldn't quite match up the same drawing style as they're drawn in the manga because it was more iunno, more realistic and proportionate than most anime? There was more detail and the eyes were really different for me. I'm still pretty new at this, so it's really no surprise that I wasn't able to nail it in this picture. But once again, I apologize for my lack of skill in being accurate with my art.
