January 2004This isn't finished, but I can't see me bringing myself to finish it anytime soon, so I thought I'd put it up anyway. Alan Rickman as Colonel Brandon from Sense and Sensibility - it is quite a quick drawing so I didn't put very much detail into it. 4B, 5B and 6B pencils used on printer paper.

No joke, I died when watching this film. I only picked it up because Rickman was in it (I'm going through a phase...) and I was so sad. I felt so sorry for Brandon and immediately hated Marianne for being so insensitive towards him. First she was after Winifred or whatever, then she got dumped, then she married Brandon. *Annoyed sigh*
Anyway, I adore this! 
I mean, this is a 'quick drawing'! You are sososo talented and don't let anyone tell you otherwise

Who DOESN'T love Colonel Brandon? Mercy. Although someone needs to steal his hat from him, because it's horrid.
I'm not sure why you think this is unfinished; I think it's lovely! About four million times better than I could do, anyway. Mr. Rickman would be very flattered!

Colonel Brandon is SO my favorite Alan Rickman man... well. maybe. He was pretty awesome as Snape and hans from Die Hard.

I don't think all versions of the DVD have the same cover but on the DVD that I rented... Alan wasn't even on the cover! I was mad.
I enjoyed the movie though; esp. moments with the Colonel
Colonel Brandon was Sense and Sensibility's savior, seriously.
He was so sweet in that movie.
And I loved his clothes
Though this is a quick drawing, I still love it!
And I like how his buttons contrast the dark color of the coat.
It's very well done!

This is not putting a lot of detail in it? My God. You're brilliant. What an immense talent, it's mind boggling. I loved him in Sense and Sensibility and you do such wonderful pieces of him! I Love that movie. mainly because it was a period film. It wasnt untill after i watched it that i became infatuated with Alan. *fans self* you did a WONDERFUL job on this.
