Here are the main characters of my story all in one place!
From left to right

The Duchess, age unknown: She's not actually part of the main group, she never travels with them, but she's such a major part and adorable I wanted to put her in there. The Duchess is the lady of the Castle in the Valley, or the Ruins in the Valley, whichever you prefer. In that castle she is all powerful and doesn't take kindly to trouble makers. She does let travelers stay and find rest. Although she looks like a small child she is older then you could imagine and hearing her speak really drives that home. If you are to ever happen apon her tread carefully, she is not merciful and brings death swiftly but painfully.

Emma, age 18: A rather unfortunate Wizard. She was born with the tattoo of the Joker on her back. She's tried very hard not to let it get her to down and has tried to be a good Wizard despite it all. She never went to a teacher to learn any of the basic which isn't uncommon for a person with the mark of the Joker, but she has managed to teach herself quite a bit. She's a rather unusual Wizard because she draws her power from the sun and the moon. She can't stand to be inside for long periods of time. Despite spending so much time outside her skin never seems to tan. She does get deathly pale if she is in an area with no natural lighting for to long. Also, she has a largegroup of blood thirsty sky pirates after her. Personality wise she is nice but a big flirt.

Achan, age 13: A young girl with a whole lot of problems. Her horns where caused by a disorder, much like Albinism, but her island didn't see it as that and she became an outcast just like those who had horns before her. She runs away with the help of an old man before her island could burn her to death. Becuase of her lack of human contact she isn't an easy person to get along with, and is in general really mean. She meets a Wizard named Abel who says he's supposed to protect her from something. So they travel together and face numorous dangers, strange people, and they find out the secrets of a past that will unravel the mystery revolving around them.

Abel, age 22: A very powerful Wizard born to be a Protector. He was never taught how to be a Wizard because his mark never reapeared signifying that he should leave to find someone to train him. Despite that fact he is extremely powerful. He has always acted much older than he really was so he left his home early to travel so he can learn all that he could. While he was dabbling in the art of being a hunter he managed to save Achan and his mark appeared and stayed for good meaning he was to keep her safe. So he stayed by her side at all times because in all aspects she is his reason for being born.

Chrissy, age 7: A very hyperactive, talkative, and eager Hunter-in-training. When she was small her town was destroyed but her and her big brother Duke survived. Chrissy admires Duke so entirely so when he became a Hunter she wanted nothing more to be one as well. She is a surprisingly strong fighter for a seven year old and is well on her way to become a fullfledged Hunter just like her brother. She does manage to convince the party into getting her a hunting dragon, grows up to be the size of a doberman, when the egg hatches they quickly find out that the egg did not contain a hunting dragon but normal sized black dragon, about the size of an elephant. Chrissy keeps him anyway.

Duke, age 20: A really dangerous idiot. He is unparralled in hand to hand combat and has terrific aim, but outside of combat he is rather idiotic. It's not that he's stupid, he has plenty of book smarts but he lacks a lot of common sense and he is really to innocent for his own good. His seven year old sister knows when girls are flirting with him more often than he does. He is very kind and a really sincere person in the end, though. He is a great asset to have in a fight though and is excellent at tracking monsters down. Achan does want to beat him over the head with a rock quite often, though...but she's just an angry person.
