The idea came to me when I was reading Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Guren Gakuenhen an official alternative universe parody of TTGL where the characters are placed in a High School enviroment instead of end of the world scenario. They really like the High School motif in anime /manga. It doesn't necesary have to be High School theme here but I did use the school roof-top idea that I keep seeing in anime.I had fun drawing this for the most part but it DID get tiresome at the end. You can probably tell that I don't usually do big complicated drawings. I really should do more things like this.
Originally I had wanted to add Bulma and Vegeta but the picture was already to full and I wanted to leave some space for back-ground and I FINALLY DID A BACKGROUND. I'm so happy. But the chain-fence was a pain to do.
Don't talk about the fashion I didnt really think about it other than Piccolo should have the japanese high school tough guy look....or something.....
And for the record, Goku's eating a strawberry covered chocolate....I think...just in case you were wondering.

i do like the concept of a high school theme, different looking for the dbz crew, awsome job, now you should do it for the dbz girls (least the ones before videl lol)

I was actually planning on doing something with the DB girls, not necessarily with a high school theme but something similar, definitely something containing Lunch.
