i'm just guessing here but you might be making the same mistake that I did for a looong time until i learned how to use the smileys properly here on devart. I think your clicking the smileys on the right side of the comment field, right? I think does are meant to express the "mood" of the comment> the real smileys are below where it says "emoticons" You have to copy/paste the text and the emoticon will appear
