I don't know what to really think about this. all i know is it caught my attention yesterday and it still has it. i'm not usually one to ponder abstract or surrealism but i can definitely apprectiate the level of your skill. it's so rare to see an oil painting as well done. the colors and contrast are eye catching and mind (if not heart) absorbing. nicely done!

This piece makes me wonder if it is a brainstorm, an epiphany...Its so full of emotion, and...angry movement...the light streak looks like a lightning bolt, so it looks like a strom to me...but no normal thunderstorm is that full of emotion....

The pure movemnet and the colours of this piece are captivating. The flow and rush of emotion, value, and shape throw the subject into my mind. And the burning conflict presented itself is epic, and enthralling.
I love oil paints, and your style has reminded me why i do. Awesome piece.

I se a guy, either on a motercycle or a horse, I think it could work either way, but if it's a horse, it could only be a stallion.. yet it looks so mechanical.. =] nice piece

A horse...looks like a ribcage...I like it. Its so neat when something first appears so random and then you look closer and the randomness of it looks deliberate. A nightmare. Yes, I can see that.

Whoa...I love stuff like this!! There's a creepy feel to it, which makes it so damned cool!

H.P. Lovecraft had a thing for ambiguity...confusing at first, but then it started to get interesting. The white thing does remind me of a seahorse and someone riding on it. Maybe it is a horse, maybe a tentacle...stuff like this always stirs up the imagination and that's probably why I like abstract pieces so much. All of it is swept up in fog...

Wow, that is really eerie and awesome. I want to explore into surreal art, but I keep doing realism. The only time I do abstract is with acrylic. One day I will finally free myself and do some pieces like this.

Great picture. The wide range of emotions conveyed through the wider range of fierce colours gives this picture a life only conformed by people's imaginations. They see what they want, but I imagine whatever they see, it closely resembles how you felt/what you imagined as you drew this. Amazing piece.

Personally, I see an executioner being ran over by a horse summoned from a God. Possibly Zeus. -shrugs- but that's me.

At first glance, this image made me think two monsters in a furnace, but the more I look at the background, the calmer it feels, like a cool sunset or something. The foreground still looks like the confusion of conflict, nightmare style, but there's some Irony in what I see in the setting.

Nice work, I've never tried oils.

Wow, very surreal, yet real all at once.. Looks to me like a mixture between the Horseman in "Sleepy Hollow" and one of the four horsemen of the apocolypse! This is helped by the fiery colours and skeletal nature of the horse thing.. Although now i look at it, it reminds me of someone strangling a dragon..

amazing..it looks like pain in motion -- a beautiful kind of disaster. i see a horse and a rider of almost emaciated proportions. they are furiously thundering toward some dark goal while turbulent skies spin overhead.

I think it looks like a horse that's getting an electric shock, or suffering extreme pain, or both (the white line in the middle of the picture), and it jumps up and around and all, and the rider has to cling on to not to fall off. The horse even has a facial expression in my eyes, it's eyes and mouth are wide open, which adds to the intense suffering/shock/insanity of the picture. Nice one

i really like how you separated the main composition from the background by your selection of colors. you titled it horse, but is seems like the one riding the horse and the exagerated pose of the horse has more meaning behind it. i get feelings of desperation and agony from this. just my opinion though. good work.

Wow- this is really beautiful. Beautiful may not be the word that really describes this picture.... spectacular is probably more like it. I'm guessing that since it is called 'Pferd' then the main subject is a horse, which I can make out in it's skeletal form, though it seems to become very much like a motorbike: is this a message of modernisation, the change from medieval times to the present day?
I love the colours you chose for the background- they have a wonderful contrast with the foreground image, and they portray a great sense of fire and destruction.
This is a fabulous piece of artwork, and it's going straight in my favourites.

Wow, that's brutal. The skeletal horse-like structue, the lines exucuted as if were lightening bolts, the glaring fire in the background ... I can feel the heat. The dirty browns are just perfect. Not sure I like the image it's portraying, but I can certainly commend the portrayl. Excellent work.

what i see is a knight also, he is holding on real tight because his horse is in an attacking stance. its almost as if i can make out the ribs of the horse, the tail, the head... etc.

very cool painting. i wouldnt call it surreal though. its more abstract in my eyes.

i love the colours you chose for it, the blue/red/gray/black hitting on the dark blue/orange/yellow background really makes the picture in front of it stand out..
in fact, it kind of looks like some sort of knight holding out a claw (exept from the bottom)..
