Didn't think I was gonna make something SAD with Discord, ey?
Good thing Pinkie was there to cheer him up. 
And it was fun to practice with sad emotions.
and why's Discord sad? I'll just leave that for you to imagine.

I guess he was ashamed that he almost destroyed friendship. 
I guess he wants to give up his days as a bad guy and starts being a good guy instead.

I really do like and respect Discord. He's an amazing villain. Best the show's had so far.
(Sorry Chrysalis, I mean I know you got a great villain song and everything, but you just can't beat Discord. Besides, I like "you're only second rate" as his unofficial song. The voices are eerily similar.)
His sense of humor and almost friendly persona seem to be a front for a much deeper evil. At first he didn't seem like too bad of a guy, and even the chaotic version of Ponyville almost seemed fun at times. But when you think about what he did to the mane six, I mean really think about it, you realize what a monster he actually is.
But if he were ever to turn good, I'd be in his corner 100%.
Power and randomness like his, used in the right way for the right reasons, could change the world for the better. And if anybody could show him the magic of friendship, it'd be Pinkie Pie.

Funny thing is, I cosplay Discord, and my friend cosplays Pinkie Pie and this is kind of how I've been feeling lately and she's really been able to help me out. This is awesome

(The world is ending; even the newly-acquired assistance from the God of Chaos himself is not enough to stop it. With their last hope diminished, Discord wanders away from the group to wallow in self-pity. After all - it was partly his fault. A little prank that went wrong. Very wrong.
Pinkie later finds and comforts him, ensuring him it's okay. We all make mistakes.)

"TWILIGHT! You didn't hafta be so mean!" Pinkie wailed as Discord faded into the sky. "Pinkie? Are you crazy?! He tried to take over Equestria, remember?!" Twilight snapped back as her magic slowly faded. "That was a long time ago! What if he changed and wants to be friends?" Pinkie bit her lip, close to bursting into tears herself. "Pinkie Pie, he's evil! Its highly improbable-" "Dont start talking like that! If you wont apologize, then I will." Pinkie darted towards where he flew off. Pinkie heard soft sobbing and followed it, peeking behind a wall to see Discord himself crying. Pinkie slowly approached the draconaquus, "Discord...? Are you okay?" she asked softly as he turned to face her, his anger sizzling temporarily. "Ohh...leave me alone, Pinkamina. I'm in no mood for any pranks." He pulled his tail away from the small pink pony. She felt her heart twist at the sight of him. She slowly went and sat in front of him. Finally, her heart couldnt take his sadness and she grabbed his hands and pulled them away from his face, "Dont cry." She said firmly, starting to cry herself. Discord sat, shocked at the pink pony's reaction. She smiled a bit, "Please...?" Discord felt his twisted back heart warm at the small pony's request. He pulled her up into a hug, and Pinkie's happiness flowed back. Discord sat her down, then with a mischievous grin, he asked, "What if we made all of Twilight's books invisible?"
