i love the fact that you drew Him so happy and actually looking like a middle eastern man. so many renditions of Jesus are drawn as if He is a european :/ absolutely amazing job!!

This one is better than that sad faced Jesus. They always portray him as being sick, suffering, and worn when he was really healthy before the jealous priesthood and politicians got to him. But I digress... Jesus or Yeshua was really an Armenic speaking person, thus was probably dark skinned and not pale, blue eyed like so many Christian renders of him past and today are. I am so inspired to try my hand at doing something like this but in 3D.

Well Europeans started to render him to look like him most who've never seen a Jew. Also most other cultures did this. The Asians made Christ to look Asian and the Ethiopians like an Ethiopian.
He was a Jew. That's for sure. I tried to model him like a Jew.

I think you did a bag up job here and it really shows. First of all great call when choosing colors thatt contrast as well as these do, it makes parts of the picture stand out even more. His head covering was also very well done and detailed, and you did an excellent job lighting the whole piece. I love the wrok you put in on the background, its very professional as I see many professionally done chritian paintings employ the same kindof backgrounds. Great work here and thank you for sharing this with Christian music fans!
