Commission for ~KanuTGL ! Her German Shepherd character, Rip.

Rip striked me as a very strong and powerful character, that had a soft spirit with a bold heart. So, even though he is not a 'vicious' animal whatsoever, I pictured him as very protective, even overprotective if you will (since German Shepherds are known to be very protecting dogs, anyways).

Hope you like it Kanu! Rip was so fun to draw, thank you for being so patient!

He would indeed fight with his entire body and soul to protect those who are important to him, so you definitely got that right, hehe I really love his eyes here especially, and great work on the background! That light filtering through the trees... Back lighting is so difficult to pull off too, but you've done it very well

Ohmigashness Mick this is awesome, I really love the lighting on this one, the way it's shining through the trees up there, it makes the pose/angle very new and refreshing I love the glow from his eyes as well, he's a handsome fellow c:
