Some inside baseball....
Rhus and I have struggled with her hair since we began shooting together in 2009. Many a Stylist have come in to the shoot boasting that they can tame her hair only to leave defeated, Her hair is heavy and does not hold a curl so it was impossible to get volume to her mane. Rhus finally figured out what would make her hair hold a great curl (a pin curl set on damp hair the night before). It worked out great.
These are some of the few images that you will see of her hair in curls.

I've known a few women with the same problem. They pretty much did the same thing. It works in this shot. Rhus is a stunning woman.
