I love the hair and makeup, but the pose seems compacted and unnatural. I'd actually go as far to say as the nudity ruins this one. Compositions excellent though.

Why does there have to be a reason for her being naked?
Your question presupposes that the clothed body is the default state for a photograph and that there has to be a reason for being nude. I simply don't approach my portrait photography that way.

I can't tell if she's trying to salute or not, but from a completely American pov, saluting: she's doing it wrong.

Yeah you caught the big blunder here.
Mosh is originally from Russia during the shooting of this set she started doing various salutes...everyone except the right one for the US Navy.
In hind sight, I find it quite amusing this quite amusing.
