Whenever I draw Supergirl, Batgirl can never be too far behind. And, naturally, Cassandra Cain is my Batgirl of choice.But I can take her as Black Bat. Or as ANYONE. Just bring my girl back, DC! Dangnabit!

If you like Cassie, check out the "Young Justice" fic "Strays". While she and Steph haven't shown up in its main canon yet (it's still on Jason and Tim at the moment), there are several side stories featuring the girls and they're ADORABLE! For an explanation, "Strays" basically has the idea of what would it be like if all of the Batkids were taken in at the same time. So far it's working great and what we've seen of Cassie and Step is wonderful.

I really hope you're right! With so much of the previous Batman continuity being retained in the New 52, it only makes sense to bring two such beloved characters back.

Peeps love their Cass Cain! It is too bad that the female members of the Bat-Fam seem to get the cold shoulder from editorial. She definitely brings something different to the table from Bruce's other junior members, so I would think there's a spot for her somewhere.
