Great shot! We get them every year, they return to their nest that is in our wall.

Great shot, wonderful color and detail. Saw a program on this guys not long ago, called them the most deadly insect in the U.S. Told about a man, in Georgia, who was killed by a swarm of them. Of course, he had just run over their nest with his tractor. Hope you were nice to this one.

They are very mean indeed, and one needs to be carefull not to disturb their nest, which usualy consist of a hole in the ground.
