What do you think of how their take on the character? Of the current arc they're doing? Personally, I'm loving every bit! And not just because he's been getting more and more facetime, but I really enjoy Manu Bennett's performance, since it's starting to get back to more of the actual comic book material, in my opinion. He's been pretty quiet about his son, though, so I wonder if dear Joseph will be making an appearance as Jericho or as Ravager... either way, I definitely think they've done right by the character, and finally, I can stop thinking of Ron Perlman when I think of Slade. I wish others would too, but I know not everyone feels the same way.
I admit I was skeptical of him at first, but willing to give this actor a shot, and he hasn't disappointed! I continue to have high hopes for their treatment of the character and Manu Bennett's performance as the character!

I love everything as well, I just don't like the fact that Oliver's and Slade's friendship was broken up by a girl.

But they had to think of something, and I doubt a simple shot to Slade's eye would've done it. >> They had to hit ya right in the feels, so they decided toss a chick in there, make 'em both fall for her, and then BAM! Simple, yet effective. And a little too overused, in my opinion.
Plus, there's been no mention to the mother of his son... >> Hell, maybe she didn't mean that much to him then...Β Never really put that much thought into this, but thinking on it now, it is kinda stupid.
