Both Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale hate Robin and have been very vocal about it in the past. Chris Nolan has said that Robin wouldnβt fit the story heβs trying to tell, and Christian Bale went as far as saying βRobin is the most humiliating role in Batman. If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, Iβll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work.β
