before I start swimming on homework and commissions I thought I might share this character I have been working on for sometime now, probably wouldn't have finished her if FaeDeeDraws hadn't convinced me

Build: thin but a bit athletic thanks to her profession and average height

Special Talent: Architecture and Anthropology

Description: "What was the last fossil you found?" "your mother!"

Background: Rarity and Maud Pie's only child the jewel of their eyes, raised in a home of professional, highly educated and strong women. Family activities ranged from opening galas to cave exploration, Agate's favorite being the last one, but still holding a certain appreciation to the first one. Rarity and Maud have always loved traveling together, Rarity got to knew new trends, people cultures and boutique location and Maud got to explore and study the soil and local minerals, because of this, by the time Agate was a teenager they had already visited almost the entirety of Equestria. When they started to show an interest on architecture, their mothers were over the moon (specially Maud) and set themselves to 110% support their child's dreams, and thanks to Rarity's contacts getting Agate an apprenticeship with the renown Petunia , Daring Doo's own apprentice. Agate absolutely didn't develop a ginormous crush on their mentor, and all the little things they do for her are just simbols of UTTER ADMIRATION ANDONLYPLATONICFEELINGSIFNOT IT WOULD BE WEIRD AND ITS NOT WEIRD OK??? (aaaah the irony, they should hang out with spike sometime)

About: Agate was raised by Maud's permanent expression of neutrality, but they're still an open book, full of emotions and a very educated and refined way of speaking, just like mama Rarity, just a little bit mouthier thanks to aunt limestone's influence, they're very good with people of all backgrounds like auntie pinkie, they do have a pet rock they always keeps with them though (a gift from Maud). Apart from that Agate also has a very funny sort of luck, they always end up mangled on unbelievable problems, specially around their mentor, around other ponies though, they are nothing but the spitting image of sophistication and agreeableness
