Description I decided to try another monster girl. I'm a fan of Axolotls. Mostly because their name is almost as crazy as their appearance.

Developing lungs and breathing air is too hard. Just breathe water.

Axolotls (in the one lake they naturally occur in) never develop lungs like other salamanders. They are fully aquatic and breathe with gills their whole adult lives.

Interesting and cute.

The name of those amphibians will always remind of Gravity Falls.

I'm well aware of what it's from.

It's a reference to the final episode of gravity falls
well more of a quoteΒ

What does it have to do with this pin-up?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

firemaster70 In reply to Midas-Bust [2018-02-10 23:47:24 +0000 UTC]

It's a pin-up of a humanoid Axolotl and it reminded me of a scene in the last episode where a certain character says the quote and the quote begins with spelling out the letters for the word AxolotlΒ
i can show you the scene the quote came from if you want more context and don't mind spoilers for the final episode of gravity falls

I've seen all of Gravity Falls. I just don't understand how this is at all relevant to the image.

It's a picture of a humanoid AxolotlΒ
bill cipher spells out Axolotl in his final words
that's the connectionΒ

Oher than 1 shared word, there is no connection. I could spout random facts about Axolotls but they wouldn't be relevant to this image.

Actually, in one of the non-canon Gravity Falls books, there's an Axolotl that's supposedly an omniscient being. It's basically the only canon thing in that book, but what it says connects to Bill Cipher's final words in the last episode.

I'm well aware of that. But this image has nothing to do with Gravity Falls.

True, but alot of big Gravity Falls fans, me included, probably thought of it when we saw the name. I imagine that might be why Gravity Falls was brought up in the first place.
