Description
My first tablet only piece.Inspired by a coca cola calendar- feburary.
the mannequin was too cool to pass up on!
I think it looks a little like kay (lips and nose) so till I get a decent picture of her done- tis kay!!

Very nice piece.
The portrayel of an inanimate object, especially one thats actually modeled off of an animate one, portraying emotions really touches me. To me it shows true sadness, that even something that really can't feel anything, is crying tears of blood.
I'll be honest, and say that I can't exactly tell what the roses signify in the piece, however, theyre aesthetically pleasing, and certainly add some nice tones and texture to the piece.
Overall, it's a very clean piece, with some good backing behind the visual side of the drawing, I like it.

I used to use painter classic alot, i really liked it.. till i got photoshop 7 and didnt have any room for it anymore. but yeah its such a cool program! ^^

This is a really great piece, too! My first tablet creation looked like...the bottom of my shoe (and I wasn't drawing that, either).
You've got a very nice control, and a smooth blending of colors for the most part. It's a little choppy around the cheeks, the shadow that is. Just spend alittle more time sampling colors and smoothing it out.
The roses/flowers are my favorite of this piece, they are really well done! Simply constructed, but very effective.
And last, try saving your jpgs at a little better quality and size, it's no fair to your audience to make us squint

btw what size do you recon is best to submit here without it being too low quality, and not taking too long to load?

Oh I don't know, really. You just gotta decide with the deviation I guess. I usually keep my submissions at 1000px width or height, the other being smaller. And compression quality in the medium to high zone, about 7 or 8. somewhere around 200kb. I'm not really sure, I don't pay much attention to it

Smoothing seemed easy then when i thought i had the hang of it it all seemed to go wrong!

What "mode" did you use with painter classic? I've used the oil paint, pen (india ink), watercolor and airbrush modes.

It was mostly pencil, with some airbrush, eraser, and clone...
