Did this over the weekend. A redesign of one of the characters from my comic. Half his head is gone and the creature on his face is what's keeping him alive by releasing healing enzymes or something.Related content

The guns have been modified so they don't work like regular flintlocks.
I just chose that class of gun because they always looked cool to me.

The concept reminds me of a character from Fist of the North Star. That guy's head was still intact but he needed straps over his head to keep it from exploding.
Still, to get to your idea here, it's pretty boss. I'm a big more partial to the gas mask thing, but that's personal preference, not a reflection on your skill.
I'd say the most stand out detail of the picture for me are the guns. I was expecting modern guns or six shooters. I'm not sure what tech level you were going for with those, but it does set it apart from more standard post-apocalyptic material.

Yes, they do look cool. Hope you didn't modify them too much though. I like the action scenes you can get from a good flintlock weapon. Pray it doesn't explode in your face, hope you hit your target and then pull your back up weapon out!
