K. Rool had always been my favorite DK character particularly in the second game where they're all dressed as pirates. Honestly, who doesn't love kremlings? I must admit I was more than a little disappointed to find out there were none in the new Donkey Kong Country Returns game. I have been recently obsessing over DKC stuff resulting in much frantic SNES playing, drawing, and episode watching. But hey lets face it, if it results in something productive then why not eh?
I'm quite happy about how this one turned out actually. I'm in the process of making a female kremling partner for him which I hope to have posted asap once I finish the shading.

Cool Drawing, but I hated some of his attacks. Like the colored blobs he produced the purple ones were the worst they reversed your controls

You and me both, pal. Kaptain K. Rool's always been my favorite iteration of the kremling leader. To the point I wish he was the Kaptain from the beginning. What, with the whole Pirate thing, which when you think about, was alluded to in the first game with the Gangplank Galleon.

I too greatly missed the return of the king on the Wii recently. This great picture helps make up for that.

Yeah, K. Rool's an awesome villain.
The fact that he never does the same thing twice (unlike a certain other reptilian king) makes him more original.
And his battle themes are awesome (minus the DKC3 GBA remake)!

Oh the music from those games were great! It's certainly one of the best video game soundtracks I've ever heard!
